MEET ALEX SAINT
TO SUPPORT OPTIMAL HEALTH & WELL-BEING
BA (Hons), NT.Dip, NT.Dip Adv, Nat.Dip, Naturopath (ND)
I am Alex Saint, a York-based Nutritional Therapist. I studied and qualified in Nutritional Therapy with the highly regarded School of Health in Stroud and am registered with FNTP (Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners).

I decided to pursue this path after a wonderful Naturopath supported me through a period of ill health, when I was living and working in Sydney, Australia. His therapeutic advice helped me return to good health and vitality, and I became fascinated by how nutrition and wider naturopathic approaches can support our body and mind.
CAREER & TRAINING
Having had a 25+ year career as a lawyer in an international firm, I understand the pressures and intensity that career commitments can present - the deadlines, long work hours and flying/ frequent travel, as well as the juggling act when working and bringing up a family. It is often us we put last and then we are surprised when we reach a point where we are ‘running on empty’. I work to bring my experiences and personal learning journey into my therapeutic approach, when advising on nutrition and a holistic programme to support you.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (Nat.Dip Adv) and a Diploma in Naturopathy (Nat.Dip), which included studies in Ayurvedic Medicine, Chinese Medicine, Tibetan and Unani Tibb (Greek/Persian) Medicine, Homeopathy, Homotoxicology, Psychosocial Skills, Iridology, Hydrotherapy, and Oral Health. I am fully qualified as a Naturopath (ND), registered with the Society of Naturopaths.
I have also completed training in Muscle Response Testing (Classical Kinesiology Institute, 2021) and use this to assess for food sensitivities, as well as to explore other potential imbalances.
